Hampton City Warrant RecordsHampton City Warrant Records

Call Hampton Police first. The Magistrates Office publishes that route, while the issuing court clerk controls a case date, bond, or recall question. Hampton City Warrant Records is a private reference and cannot confirm, change, or clear a warrant. Hampton has separate Circuit, General District, and J&DR clerks. Use the contact that matches the case, and call before visiting because the courts and records offices have different hours and purposes. Phone ahead to confirm where and when to speak with the right office.

This Is Not a Government Office. Hampton City Warrant Records cannot confirm a live warrant, recall process, accept bond or fine payments, arrange surrender, or give legal advice. For an official answer, contact Hampton Police and the clerk of the court that issued the case.

Official Hampton Warrant Contacts

Use the office that handles the task. A Police warrant question, a court case, a records request, and a custody issue go to different desks.

The magistrate office at 236 N. King Street is open 24 hours for judicial and bail work. It directs current outstanding-warrant questions to Hampton Police and cannot give legal advice.

For an existing public record, Hampton routes FOIA requests through GovQA and its FOIA officers. The City gives an initial response within five business days; costs and exemptions may apply. A $15 in-person local criminal record check requires the subject's photo ID and covers local convictions, not warrant status.

Hampton's records-request instructions explain request methods and the information to include. The old correctional-facility page says 135 High Court Lane is temporarily closed during construction, so confirm current intake routing before traveling there.
